Neighbor Lorraine Kelly told Lanarkshire Live: ‘I lived here for five years and Kate welcomed us with open arms.

“My mother passed away last August and Kate has always been there for me.

“She’s an amazing person and I just wanted to say thank you and give her something nice for a change instead of her doing everything for everyone.

“Me and my partner would be lost without her. She goes out of her way to help others and it would be nice for her to know how much she is appreciated.

When Lorraine told us about her selfless neighbor, Kate, we were thrilled to be able to help her.

And we surprised Kate at her home with a stunning flower arrangement, courtesy of our friends at Pixies Petals at Newmains.

“Kate always goes the extra mile to be there for everyone and there are just no words for how much that means to me,” Lorraine said.

And upon receiving the flowers, a delighted Kate said, “I’m delighted and want to thank Lorraine for nominating me. I’m on the moon.”
