The 30th visit to the historic Dennisville Christmas House will be ‘virtual’ this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Over a dozen homes, churches and public buildings are featured in short videos or photo montages on the Dennis Historic Home Owners Associationthe website until December. Access is free.

Among the structures shown are the Thomas Jr. and Zilpah Ludlam House, circa 1790; Crawford House, circa 1810; Place James Stile, circa 1857; Henry Ludlum House, circa 1740; Jonathan Crandall House, circa 1813-’17; FB Bushnell House, circa 1845; Benjamin Tomlin House, circa 1883; Jonathan and Sarah James House, circa 1860; Enoch and Nancy James House, c. 1820-’30; Captain Charles and Lydia Crawford House, circa 1852; and the Edmund and Annabelle James House, circa 1815; as well as the Dennisville Volunteer Fire Company and Dennisville United Methodist Church.

Videos documenting the March 21, 2018 snowfall in town and the January 2018 “deep freeze” on Dennis Creek are also posted.
