APGA Ojiakor leader backs zoning arrangement for political offices in Ihiala council area

Engineer Ifeanyichukwu Ojiakor, an all-progressive grand alliance, APGA, faithful and actor in the Ihiala council area, supported the zoning arrangement of all political offices in the Ihiala local government area.

Correspondent Blessing Dennis reports that there is a formal, but unwritten, zoning arrangement that guides elections and appointments to political office among the ten communities that make up the Ihiala local government area, particularly with regard to the two state constituencies, the federal constituency and the position of local government chairman.

Engineer Ojiakor who hails from Uli/Amorka political area of ​​Ihiala whose turn is to produce the local government chairman said he respects the existing zoning arrangement will ensure peace and quiet in the council area and such justice will help produce capable sons and daughters of Ihiala, who will help to free the people from the chains of poverty and deprivation.

Engineer Ojiakor made this known to Awka during a meeting with council area stakeholders, which was attended by the chairman of the transition committee, the leader and other party members.

He said that as a servant-leader who delights in putting the public interest first, he will continue to pursue actions that will improve the lot of his people.

Engineer Orjiakor, who is also the Ihiala Local Government Coordinator of the Soludo Support Group, claimed that previous administrations had done their best but their best was not good enough, hence his decision to join the race under the APGA platform for the brighter future of its people.

Anambra State Assembly Deputy Speaker, The Right Honorable Paschal Agbodike, who had previously declared his interest in representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, said he wanted to change the narrative of the people of his riding as someone who connects to the needs of the grassroots people.

Also speaking, another stakeholder, Engineer Anayochukwu Ojiakor, said Ihiala council area needs representatives, who will prioritize the needs of the people, use state resources to improve their well -being and transforming the fortunes of the region.

In their separate speeches, Ihiala Two Constituency aspirant Mr Chinedu Ukachukwu and his Ihiala One Constituency counterpart Dr JC Mmadu said that they were energized because they wanted to be the voice of the voiceless in the Ihiala council area.
